Meet Paul Cohen
CEO & Founder, Attention Comms and President, PRSA-NY
Paul Cohen has spent three decades helping organizations earn the kind of attention that changes outcomes. He founded Attention Comms in 2025, but the conviction behind it – that attention is the fundamental substance shaping modern communications – was built over a career spanning three continents, advising multinational corporations and sovereign governments, startups, and nonprofits.
Paul spent 17 years at Ketchum, holding senior leadership roles across the firm's Shanghai, Hong Kong, Brussels, and New York offices, and became a partner in 2010. He has advised organizations across the entire energy value chain, led global communications for a United Nations climate summit, and counseled Fortune 100 companies, sovereign governments, international institutions, startups, and venture- and private equity-backed businesses. In 2021, he founded and led the U.S. business of Milk & Honey PR, which grew dramatically over four years before he led the 2025 buyout that created Attention Comms.
Paul serves as President of PRSA-NY, the New York chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. He was named to PR Week's 40 Under 40 and has been a key member of teams recognized with every major industry award, including the Silver Anvil, PR Week Awards in the US and Asia-Pacific, the Gold SABRE, the PRSA-NY Big Apple Awards, and recognition as a Cannes Lions finalist. He has served on the advisory board of the International Center for Journalists, the international advisory board of the PRCA, and as a Director of the Council of Public Relations Firms of Hong Kong. He earned a BA with highest honors in comparative literature from the University of Michigan.
